knowing that nobody’s going to know whether you did it or not.”

Teenprenuers of America

This is an extensive training course that provides youth with the essential skills and business concepts to become future business owners. Our team of teenpreneurs partner with Italian ice distributors and manufactures to strategize a plan to sell their product to potential customers. During this time our young leaders are taught the value of customer service, selling techniques, profit margins, pricing, budgeting, and accountability. The Community Teen Coalition youth sales team is actively involved in learning entrepreneurship skills at Lakewood stadium during football season and other special events as well as on the campus of Clark Atlanta University and Morehouse College during homecoming.

Film/Media Production

CTC use film as a catalyst for discussion and social action to teach documentary production to students. Its success derives in part from the youth’s passion in advocacy through film and media. CTC youth learn to operate digital video cameras, editing equipment, audio technology, and the art of documentary storytelling. For more information on CTC Production please contact  dstokes@ctc-inc.org for more information.

Family Sponsorship

CTC believes in giving back to the community. CTC prides itself in being able to provide for families during the holiday seasons. Through sponsorship, CTC provides families with a holiday meal, gifts for children, and other needs that the family may have. If you know of a family who would benefit from this program or you would like to sponsor a family, please contact dstokes@ctc-inc.org for more information.

Covenant House of Georgia

Since 2008, CTC has partnered with the Covenant House of Georgia by providing job readiness classes, mock interviews, and resume critiques to Atlanta’s Homeless Youth. The goal is to give participants a competitive edge, entry-level employability skills, and to increase awareness of the types of attitude, skills and behaviors needed in finding and keeping a job.

Atlanta Union Mission

CTC has worked on the front lines of homelessness and drug prevention. Atlanta Union Mission and CTC share a common vision to combat poverty, drug addiction, and homelessness among our youth. Some of CTC youth visited AUM shelters to meet with recovering addicts and gang members to discuss their life experiences and overcoming these challenges.
